Job summary

Watsco in Mesa, AZ is seeking a Counter Sales Warehouse Associate to run the sales counter, assist customers, and handle day-to-day warehouse tasks including order picking, loading, unloading, and inventory control.

You will work with internal and external sales teams, vendors, and contractors to ensure accurate orders and timely dispatch, while maintaining safety and orderly showrooms.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ year experience in a Counter Sales role, preferably HVAC.
• Proven success in sales and providing excellent customer service.
• Strong interpersonal skills including sales, problem solving and customer service.
• Ability to work independently and meet goals in designated time frames.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Proven commitment to customer service and a safe work environment

Responsibilities

• Daily loading and unloading of products.

• Verify all items received to items ordered for accuracy.
• Pick and verify orders for customers and prepare orders for shipment as needed.
• Assist with physical inventory and inventory control.
• Appropriate use and maintenance of OF device.
• Provide excellent customer service to external customers.
• Ensure grounds and warehouse are kept neat, orderly, and safe for employees and customertraffic.
• Adhere to all safety requirements relevant to one’s regular job duties.
• Wear appropriate PPE.
• Perform other duties as assigned

The Counter Sales Warehouse Associate is responsible for our sales counter as well as for the day-to-day warehouse upkeep, including picking and verifying orders, loading, and unloading of products, and inventory control using warehouse equipment state of the art technology. The ultimate goal of this role is to provide strong customer service and to procure, process, and dispatch products to customers.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of air conditioning, heating and ventilation equipment at a wholesale distribution level.
• Experience in a wholesale HVAC equipment supply house preferred.
• 6 months Warehouse experience including forklift operation.
