Job summary

Rexel USA, Inc. in Sandy, UT is seeking a Counter Sales Representative to deliver excellent customer service and drive electrical distribution sales from the Sandy counter.

You will help customers with purchases, process orders, and assist in showroom upkeep while coordinating with the branch team. The role requires 2+ years in customer service or sales in electrical distribution, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift and stock materials; forklift certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer service, sales, or electrical distribution experience preferred.
• Previous branch experience preferred.
• Certification to operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment preferred.
• If required to drive: Must have a valid driver's license; Must be at least 21; Must pass MVR checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers promptly and courteously with their purchases and processing of their orders or returns.
• Assist in driving electrical distribution sales for our counter business and developing new and existing customer relationships.
• Stay informed and educated on product knowledge.
• Inform manager of any potentially hazardous or elevated safety issues.
• Assist with daily restocking, showroom maintenance, and keeping showroom and counter clean and organized.
• May be required to make deliveries up to 20% of the time.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
