Job summary

Watkins-Lincoln is seeking a Counter Sales Associate to join our team in Lincoln, NE. You will provide excellent customer service, assist customers with questions and orders, enter data, and process orders efficiently while maintaining showroom displays.

The role requires strong communication, basic math, and familiarity with MS Office and inventory awareness; weekend hours may be required. High school diploma and some related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven customer service experience in retail or similar setting.
• Ability to assist customers with purchases and product information.
• Knowledge of basic math and cash handling.
• Familiarity with inventory and pricing systems.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and maintains good relations with customers by providing courteous, efficient, and professional service.
• Develops a working knowledge of products manufactured and/or distributed by Watkins.
• Answers telephones professionally and pleasantly, assisting customers, taking orders and providing excellent customer service.
• Data entry and retrieval on computer system, including entering of customer orders, transfers, obtain quotation information, inventory information and pricing.
• Assists sales staff with sales quotes, mailings, or any account research as needed.
• Generates delivery and pick up orders for cash sale customers and charge accounts.
