Job summary

Tague Lumber of Doylestown is seeking a friendly Counter Sales Representative to be the welcoming first point of contact at our Doylestown location. You will assist customers in-person and over the phone, helping identify products and solutions while building lasting community relationships.

You will process sales orders, provide accurate product information, and collaborate with the team to keep daily operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to stay organized and effective in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in lumber, millwork, or building materials sales is a plus, but not required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to pass a drug screening, physical, and background check.
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.

In this role, you’ll serve as the “face of the company,” helping ensure every customer interaction is positive, helpful, and solution oriented. You’ll play a key role in supporting both walk-in customer and customers over the phone while building strong, lasting relationships within the community.
