Shepherd Electric Supply is seeking a Counter Sales Representative to assist customers, provide quotes, and process orders with accuracy at the Oak Grove branch. You will identify parts, support multiple product lines, and work to build long-lasting customer relationships.

The role emphasizes reliability, attention to detail, and professional conduct in daily interactions with contractors and facility managers. Bilingual Spanish is a plus and employment offers growth potential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of experience in the electrical industry preferred; attitude and reliability matter more than years.
• Proficiency in computer usage; familiarity with Eclipse software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist walk-in and call-in customers with part identification, product selection, and order processing.
• Provide accurate quotes and follow through to close — no dropped handoffs.
• Build strong customer relationships to generate repeat business and loyalty.
• Represent Shepherd professionally in every interaction — appearance, conduct, and communication.
• Develop knowledge of electrical products across multiple product lines and identify parts correctly.
