Job summary

Shepherd Electric Supply is seeking a Counter Sales Representative to assist walk-in customers with part identification, quotes, and order processing, ensuring accuracy and timely completion. You will build relationships with contractors and facility managers to drive repeat business and represent Shepherd professionally at the counter.

Ideal candidates are reliable, detail-oriented, able to work under pressure, and eager to learn the electrical industry.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1–3 years of experience in the electrical industry preferred.
• Proficiency in computer usage; Eclipse software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist walk-in and call-in customers with part identification, product selection, and order processing.
• Provide accurate quotes and follow through to close — no dropped handoffs.
• Build strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business and represent Shepherd professionally.
