Yale Electric Supply, an affiliate of USESI, is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Counter Sales Lead to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead by example in providing excellent customer service at the sales counter, by phone, and through email.
• Support and coordinate daily counter sales activities to ensure efficient operations and timely customer service.
• Assist customers with product inquiries, quotes, sales orders, returns (RGAs), and inventory transfers.
• Serve as a resource for counter sales associates, providing guidance on products, processes, and customer service best practices.
• Assist with training and onboarding new counter sales associates.
• Resolve customer concerns and assist with escalated inquiries as needed.
• Proactively track and follow up on orders to ensure accuracy, timely fulfillment, and customer satisfaction.
• Identify opportunities to expand the customer base, increase counter sales, and improve profitability.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe counter and warehouse environment.
• Support order fulfillment, including stock placement, will call preparation, and general warehouse activities.
• Promote adherence to company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Partner with branch management to identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiency.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous counter sales, customer service, or related sales experience required.
• Electrical product knowledge and experience in electrical distribution strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and willingness to coach and support team members.
• Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, coordinate daily activities, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic math skills and proficiency with web browsers, order entry systems, and data entry tools.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in warehouse conditions.
• Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
