Heating and Cooling Supply LLC is seeking a Counter Sales Driver in California. The role focuses on managing the sales counter, assisting customers, and coordinating deliveries for HVAC freight and materials to ensure timely, accurate service.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in counter sales in HVAC
• 24 months driving a 16’ min. box truck or stake bed truck
• Clean driving record and ability to pass DOT requirements
• Must be 21+ years old
• Proven success in sales and providing excellent customer service
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and meet goals
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products
• Commitment to safety and accuracy

Responsibilities

• Interact with internal and outside sales, vendors and contractors
• Showroom merchandising and restocking products
• Resolve customer relations problems with dealers and end users
• Process sales orders and upsell related items
• Load/unload products for delivery in the region
• Collect invoices with signatures and return to Sales Center Manager
• Assist in warehouse inventory counts and order verification
• Maintain daily truck maintenance checklist and PPE compliance
• Perform other duties as assigned

Here is what you will be doing as part of the team:

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ year experience in a Counter Sales role, preferably in the HVAC industry.
• 24 months of verifiable experience driving a 16’ minimum box truck, or stake bed truck.
• Possess a clean driving record:
• No more than one moving violation in any one year period.
• No more than one preventable accident in any two year period.
• No restrictions, suspensions or DUI convictions in the past 3 years.
• Ability to pass DOT physical examination requirements.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Proven success in sales and providing excellent customer service.
• Strong interpersonal skills including sales, problem solving and customer service.
• Ability to work independently and meet assigned goals and objectives in designated time frames.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment.
• A willingness to learn and grow with our Company.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Proven commitment to customer service and a safe work environment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of air conditioning, heating and ventilation equipment at a wholesale distribution level.
• Experience in a wholesale HVAC equipment supply house preferred.

Job Requirements

Looking for a Cool Job in a fast-paced environment with a dynamic team representing the industry leaderin HVAC equipment? The Counter Sales Driver is responsible for our sales counter as well as loads,delivers, and transports of HVAC freight and materials. The ultimate goal of this role is to provide strongcustomer service and to procure, process, and dispatch products to customers.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Interact with internal and outside sales people, vendors and contractors.
• Responsible for showroom merchandising and re-stocking product.
• Assist in resolving customer relations problems with both dealers and end users.
• Complete sales order process for customers with efforts to up-sell associated items.
• Load and unload products for delivery in assigned region.
• Collect invoices with proper signatures and return to Sales Center Manager.
• Assist in the Warehouse with inventory counts, picking, verifying orders, and several Warehouseduties.
• Responsible for daily checklist of truck maintenance and reporting in/out times with merchandisereturns.
• Adhere to all safety requirements, including wearing appropriate PPE.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

In addition to the above responsibilities, this individual is held accountable for all other duties asassigned.
