Job summary

Core & Main is seeking a dedicated counter sales associate to manage daily customer interactions, process orders, and coordinate deliveries in a fast-paced environment.

You will build strong relationships with contractors and municipal buyers, respond to inquiries, and help ensure accurate order status and stock availability. A HS Diploma or GED is preferred, with 0–2 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred. 0-2 years of experience in area of responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Orders products, arranges delivery, contacts customers regarding delivery and updates customers on order status.
• Takes special orders and keep customers updated on progress.
• Acts as liaison between warehouse supervisor and customers.
• Ensures purchase orders are completed. Pulls orders as required.
• Answers telephones and ensures counters are properly stocked.
