Airgas, Inc. in Grandville, MI seeks a Counter Sales Associate to provide high-energy customer interactions and operational support in a busy retail environment. You will help customers choose gases, welding equipment and supplies, while guiding them on best tools and procedures to complete projects.

Qualificações

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1+ years in inside sales, retail or customer service, with exposure to industrial sales a plus.
• Forklift experience required, and training provided on hire.
• Must be able to operate in a drug-free workplace.
• Capable of moving items up to 60 pounds regularly with assistance as needed.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
• Comfortable using basic math and computer tools, including POS systems (training provided).
• Experience in industrial retail, inside sales, or inventory control is a plus.
• Attention to detail in handling transactions.
• Availability for occasional overtime when the team needs extra support.

Responsabilidades

• Advising customers on tools, hardware and materials to complete projects.
• Managing order entry and processing transactions; assisting with deposits reconciliation.
• Coordinating with customers and team via phone, email and in person.
• Maintaining showroom displays and shelving for an excellent customer experience.
• Ensuring adherence to company policies including safety and PPE usage.
