Job summary

White Cap is hiring a Counter Sales Associate in Washington for an on-site role. You will assist walk-in and call-in customers, process and quote orders, and provide product information and technical guidance to resolve customer needs.

The position emphasizes exceptional customer service, upselling, and strong knowledge of construction products in a fast-paced environment. Washington-based applicants are preferred.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated success providing excellent customer service.
• Experience with sales order computer software, preferably Oracle.
• Knowledge of construction and industrial products.
• Spanish language proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to walk-in, phone, and will-call customers.
• Process orders, quote prices, enter orders into the system, and provide order information; pull orders as needed.
• Communicate product features, benefits, and warranty information to customers.
• Demonstrate knowledge of products and their applications; offer technical advice and resolve customer issues.
• Upsell by identifying related products and informing customers of promotions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
