GBS Building Supply, a division of US LBM Holdings, LLC, is seeking a Counter Sales Representative to assist customers and contractors in a retail setting. You will take orders, answer questions, and process payments while providing excellent service.

The role requires strong communication, math skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. High school diploma or GED is required, with 1–3 years of building material knowledge and sales experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Proficient with basic math, calculator use, and computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers with merchandise questions, location, pricing, and promotions.
• Process sales at the register and handle payments in various forms.
• Provide initial responses to product inquiries, quotes, deliveries, and follow-ups.
• Assist showroom customers with product selections and maintain consistent records of orders.
• Create invoices, work orders, and sales tickets; enter data into systems.
• Ensure accurate cash handling and balance cash levels at registers.
• Maintain showroom appearance and stock levels; assist with physical inventory.
