Job summary

White Cap in Indianapolis is hiring a Counter Sales Associate to assist walk-in and phone customers, process orders, quote prices, and provide product information.

You will use sales software, upsell related products, and develop product knowledge across construction and industrial goods; Spanish language skills are a plus, and we value service-oriented teamwork.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated success providing excellent customer service.
• Experience with sales order computer software, preferably Oracle.
• Knowledge of construction and industrial products.
• Spanish language proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates exceptional customer service to walk-in, phone, and will call customers.
• Processes orders, quotes prices, enters orders into the system and provides order information to customers.
• Communicates product features, benefits, and warranty policy information to customers.
• Demonstrates knowledge of products and their applications and provides technical advice.
• Upsells by identifying related products and informing customers of promotions.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Performs other duties as assigned.
