Description

Daikin Comfort Technologies Distribution, Inc. is seeking a professional, skilled individual for our HVAC CSR/Inside Sales position for our branch operations group. The CSR sells the organization’s products and services to prospective and established customers. Whether face-to-face, on the phone, or through email or fax, the CSR handles customer needs by understanding their requirements, answering questions, creating solutions, and ensuring a smooth and quick sales process. Knowledge of the organization’s policies, procedures, practices, products, and services is essential. The CSR collaborates with the Regional or Branch Manager to drive territory coverage and maintain positive dealer relationships.

Responsibilities
  1. Assist in delivering sales, including new business development, maintaining accounts through active communication about new products, services, and discounts via outbound calls.
  2. Provide excellent customer service via face-to-face, phone, and email interactions.
  3. Manage sales processes including order processing, quotes, payments, and delivery coordination.
  4. Recommend alternative products based on cost, availability, or specifications.
  5. Monitor shipment schedules to ensure timely delivery and coordinate with relevant departments.
  6. Generate and follow up on sales leads by providing product and technical information promptly.
  7. Educate customers about product features and benefits to enhance sales and satisfaction.
  8. Assist with warranties and returns.
  9. Work with the Branch Manager to resolve customer issues and improve satisfaction.
  10. Reach out periodically to assess customer satisfaction.
  11. Maintain sales records and prepare activity reports.
  12. Stay updated on HVAC products and industry trends.
  13. Collaborate with management and peers to ensure high service levels.
  14. Follow work instructions, procedures, and policies.
  15. Participate in additional projects as needed.
Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of sales experience.
  • High School diploma or GED; some college preferred.
  • Knowledge of HVAC products is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database applications.
  • Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to handle high customer volume and multitask effectively.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to establish positive relationships internally and externally.
  • Good judgment, work ethics, and integrity.
