Job Summary

Responsible for managing counter sales and customer relations.

Key Responsibilities

• Order products, arrange delivery, contact customers regarding delivery and update them on order status.
• Takes special orders and keeps customers updated on progress.
• Acts as liaison between warehouse supervisor and customers.
• Ensures purchase orders are completed.
• Pulls orders as required.
• Answers telephones and ensures counters are properly stocked.

Career Level & Dimensions

Typical Training/Experience: HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred. 0-2 years of experience in area of responsibility.

Problem Complexity & Autonomy

Under close supervision, exercises limited latitude/independent judgment. Work typically involves detailed checks or close review of output by a senior coworker and/or supervisor.

Job Requirements

Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable. Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time. Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
