Job summary

Core & Main is seeking a counter sales professional to manage customer relations and daily orders at our Henderson, NV location. You will process product orders, coordinate delivery, and keep customers informed on order status, while supporting a busy counter with inventory checks and phone coverage.

Ideal candidates have a HS Diploma or GED, 0-2 years of related experience, strong customer service and verbal communication skills, and familiarity with sales order software to efficiently handle

• Problem Complexity: follows clearly prescribed rules; seeks guidance on non-routine issues.

Responsibilities

• Orders products, arranges delivery, contacts customers regarding delivery and updates customers on order status.
• Takes special orders and keeps customers updated on progress.
• Acts as liaison between warehouse supervisor and customers.
• Ensures purchase orders are completed.
• Pulls orders as required.
• Answers telephones and ensures counters are properly stocked.
