Responsibilities:

• Report to the Warehouse Manager.
• Ensuring safety in all that we do.
• Perform general cleaning duties of warehouse, yard, and showroom to achieve appearance and safety standards.
• Maintain yard, warehouse, and showroom appearance standards, including organizing and displaying merchandise.
• Load and unload trucks via pumps, by hand, and/or with a forklift.
• Cleaning and inspecting rental equipment when returned.
• Completing maintenance and light mechanical work on rental equipment.
• Providing excellent customer service at the sales counter, in the yard, in the warehouse, and over the phone.
• Work week will include Saturdays and Sundays.
• Opening and closing showroom, yard, and warehouse.
• Assist McConnell's construction crews with preparing for their jobs.
• Work with a wide range of customers, including contractors, municipalities, and homeowners to sell a wide range of products which may include asphalt sealers, asphalt crack sealers, line striping paint, hand tools, and various other pavement maintenance products.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Physical demands include but are not limited to; lifting heavy objects, walking, and standing for extended periods of time and performing physical labor under adverse weather conditions.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong work ethic with a desire to succeed.
• Relatively clean motor vehicle report. (Applicants w/ a drug or alcohol driving offense in the last five years will not be considered. Other violations will be evaluated using our insurance company standards.)
• 2 or more years customer service experience.
• 2 or more years operating a forklift.
• General mechanical skills.
• Basic computer skills
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Ability to work 40 – 50 hours a week including weekends.
