Job summary

thegranitegroup is seeking a motivated counter sales associate for our Portland, ME location. This entry-level role focuses on helping customers with inquiries, recommending products, and processing purchases to support the sales team.

The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, a customer-service mindset, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment. HVAC or plumbing knowledge is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

Counter Sales-Entry Level

We are looking for a motivated, detail oriented, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a counter sales associate. This role is ideal for someone with an interest in HVAC or plumbing products, strong communication skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.

In this position, you will be a key point of contact for customers-answering inquiries, recommending products, processing transactions, and ensuring a clean, organized work environment. Additional responsibilities include assisting with inventory management, stocking shelves, coordinating material transfers between branches and vendors, and maintaining accurate computer records.
