Job summary

Johnstone Supply is seeking a full-time Counter Sales associate in Gaithersburg, MD. You will be the face of the store, entering orders in our POS and assisting with carryout or delivery.

This role offers a $1,500 signing bonus, competitive hourly pay of $21–$26, and generous full-time benefits. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm, in a family-focused environment.

You will learn the HVAC/R trade while working with a supportive team where tenure is valued.

Job description

Johnstone Supply is seeking to hire for our full-time Counter Sales position in our Gaithersburg, MD location. Are you an exceptional sales professional who is ready to have your evenings and weekends free? This position earns a competitive wage of $21-$26/hr based on prior experience and current HVAC product knowledge, as well as a $1,500 signing bonus! You would be eligible for generous full-time benefits, including monthly bonuses, annual bonuses, medical, prescription, dental, vision, a 401(k) plan with company match, company-paid life insurance, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO).

A DAY IN THE LIFE IN COUNTER SALES

In Counter Sales, you are the face of Johnstone Supply to our valued customers. As the person manning the counter, they rely on you for your expertise and knowledge of our products. When HVAC contractors call in or stop by our storefront, you enter their orders into our point-of-sale system. You also pull orders for carryout or delivery. Friendly and helpful, you develop and maintain relationships with them built on trust. You feel great about helping our business clients meet their own clients' needs as you continue to learn more about the HVAC trades!
