In the Counter Sales role, employees assist customers with their order needs in a fast-paced HVAC environment. They may also support Warehouse team members by pulling orders or locating parts to answer customer inquiries. Hard workers grow rapidly here. Successful Counter Sales associates possess strong keyboarding skills, excellent communication, safety awareness, customer service skills, attention to detail, professionalism, good attendance, and teamwork abilities.

This position is based at our Albany branch, located at 15 Industrial Park Rd, Albany, NY.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete assigned training and apply learnings effectively
• Perform general warehouse duties, including working in various departments
• Maintain a safe work environment by addressing hazards and ensuring cleanliness
• Communicate effectively with management during shifts and breaks
• Use proper safety equipment and conduct safety inspections on handling equipment
• Handle aisle responsibilities as assigned
• Conduct queue checks and respond promptly throughout the day

Preferred Job Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED; some college in business, sales, or related field preferred
• At least 3 years’ experience in customer service
• At least 1 year of HVAC experience
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Strong mathematical and numerical analysis skills
• Ability to operate computers, photocopiers, scanners, phones, and virtual platforms
• Minimum keyboarding speed of 40 WPM
