Job Summary

Join the crew at Red Lodge Pizza Co.! We’re looking for a high-energy, reliable Counter Host to be the face of our front-of-house. If you love people, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and want to help us serve up great experiences (and great pizza), you’ll fit right in. You’ll keep the vibes high and the orders flowing by managing the counter, crushing customer service, and backing up the team.

Essential Job Duties

Include the following: other duties may be assigned.

Operational Support

• Greets all guests appropriately and assists them efficiently and effectively.
• Seats customers according to the table rotation and works closely with the Restaurant Manager to manage waitlists.
• Uses POS to ring in To-Go orders and picks up those orders from the kitchen.
• Takes orders by telephone, answers, and transfers calls.
• Serves ice cream and stocks supplies in the counter area.
• Maintains clear and concise communication with both Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH) staff to ensure to-go orders and service supplies are handled efficiently.

Area Maintenance

• Keeps counters clean at all times.
• Maintains the cleanliness of the counter and surrounding guest areas, including trash receptacles.

Operational Readiness

Employees must be accessible via cell phone and/or email. This is required for the effective use of our internal management systems, including staff scheduling and human resources applications.

Experience / Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred (but okay if you are still in school!).
• Experience in the customer service field is preferred but not required.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Physical Demands: Regularly required to walk, sit, use hands, reach, balance, stoop, talk, or hear. Must lift and move up to 15 pounds.
• Work Environment: Operates in a busy, fast-paced restaurant environment, involving long periods of standing and stair use.
• Schedule: Requires the flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and late hours.
