Job summary

AeroVironment is seeking a Counter-Countermeasure and Threat Discrimination Program Engineer in Huntsville, AL. You will provide systems analysis to develop new Missile Defense System capabilities to identify objects, and support the MDA/SEM directorate in discrimination efforts.

  • Experience in electronic attack/protection modeling and requirements development.
  • Experience developing technology maturation plans for transfer to program offices.

AV is looking for a highly talented Counter-Countermeasure and Threat Discrimination Program Engineer to join our team! In this role you will provide systems analysis expertise to develop new Missile Defense System (MDS) capabilities to identify lethal objects.

  • Work within a multi-discipline, multi-source/industry team
  • Provide technical analysis, management, and general scientific support to MDA's Counter- Countermeasures and Discrimination Directorate (MDA/SEM)
  • Develop and formulate options for improving the Missile Defense System's discrimination and electronic protection capabilities.
