Job summary

Parts ASAP is seeking a dependable Counter Assistant to help keep our store running smoothly by supporting customers and the sales team throughout the day.

The role offers starting pay of $20.00 per hour, bi-weekly pay, and full-time employment with benefits including medical, dental & vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, paid time off, and company holidays. Experience in agriculture, construction, automotive, retail, or parts sales is a plus, and training is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion.
• Experience in agriculture, construction, automotive, retail, or parts sales is a plus—but we'll help you learn.

Responsibilities

• Greeter: Welcome walk-in customers and direct them to the right team member.
• Assist customers with order pickups, returns, refunds, and exchanges.
• Process invoices, payments, and customer transactions.
• Monitor customer calls and help manage incoming requests.
• Coordinate product returns and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Support the sales team by keeping customer orders organized and moving smoothly.
• Maintain an organized counter area and ensure prompt, friendly service.
• Work closely with teammates to deliver an outstanding customer experience.

What You'll Do

As a Counter Assistant, you'll help keep our store running smoothly by supporting customers and the sales team throughout the day.
