Job summary

Parts ASAP is seeking a Counter Assistant to welcome customers, process orders, and assist the sales team in a fast-paced store environment.

You will greet walk-ins, handle order pickups and returns, process payments, and help maintain inventory accuracy while delivering friendly, prompt service with teammates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion.
• Experience in agriculture, construction, automotive, retail, or parts sales is a plus- and we'll help you learn.

Responsibilities

• Greeting walk-in customers and directing them to the right team member.
• Assisting customers with order pickups, returns, refunds, and exchanges.
• Processing invoices, payments, and customer transactions.
• Monitoring customer calls and helping manage incoming requests.
• Coordinating product returns and maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Supporting the sales team by keeping customer orders organized and moving efficiently.
• Helping maintain an organized counter area and ensuring customers receive prompt, friendly service.
• Working closely with teammates to deliver an outstanding customer experience.

What You'll Do
