Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. in Salt Lake City is seeking a Warehouse Counter to provide timely and accurate inventory accounting. You will count, verify shipments, and support operations with daily reports and data entry, while upholding safety and quality standards.

This role starts on the first shift with early mornings. We offer strong benefits starting after 60 days, including medical, dental, vision, FSA/HSA, and life insurance, plus vacation, sick leave, holidays, and a 401(k) profit sharing plan

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Able to perform accurate visual inspections.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English at a functional level for job tasks and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily location cycle counts and daily local purchase counts.
• Perform daily damage reporting and data sheet entry.
• Perform critical counts/shorts and warehouse out of stocks.
• Compile and submit daily out of stock/ship confirmation reports.
• Verify bill of lading and receiving quantity.
• Additional duties and/or special projects may be assigned by the supervisor.

The Cycle Counter I provides timely and accurate accounting of inventory while obtaining product based on need.

• Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour.
• 1st shift- Early Mornings

What you\'ll do as a Warehouse Counter:
