McLane Company, Inc is hiring for a Warehouse Counter in Hazelwood, MO. The role involves inventory counting, reporting, and keeping accurate records to support warehouse operations.

The position offers an early morning Monday–Friday shift with benefits starting after 60 days, vacation and sick leave accrual from day one, 401(k) plan after 90 days, and various other perks including life, dental, and vision insurance.

Qualifications

• Read/write and understand English well for work instructions, safety protocols and communications.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily location cycle counts and daily local purchase counts.
• Perform daily damage reporting and data sheet entry.
• Perform critical counts/shorts and warehouse out of stocks.
• Compile and submit daily out of stock/ship confirmation reports.
• Verify bill of lading and receiving quantity.
• Additional duties and/or special projects may be assigned by supervisor.

The Cycle Counter I provides timely and accurate accounting of inventory while obtaining product based on need.

• Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour.

What you'll do as a Warehouse Counter:

Qualifications you'll bring as a Warehouse Teammate:

• At least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Able to perform accurate visual inspections.
• This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
