Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is hiring a Warehouse Counter in Lakewood, WA. The role focuses on accurate cycle counts, inventory control, and timely reporting to support supply chain operations.

The position offers a 2:00 PM start, a pay rate of $22.75 per hour, and a robust benefits package starting on day 60. You’ll join a safety-conscious, team-oriented environment with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Able to perform accurate visual inspections.
• Must read, write and understand English sufficiently to perform tasks safely.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily location cycle counts and daily local purchase counts.
• Perform daily damage reporting and data sheet entry.
• Perform critical counts/shorts and warehouse out of stocks.
• Compile and submit daily out of stock/ship confirmation reports.
• Verify bill of lading and receiving quantity.
• Additional duties and/or special projects may be assigned by supervisor.

The Cycle Counter I provides timely and accurate accounting of inventory while obtaining product based on need.

• Pay Rate: $22.75 per hour.
• Monday to Friday 2:00 p.m. start time.

What you’ll do as a Warehouse Counter:

• This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
