Job Title: Count Team Attendant

Reports To: Supervisor Count Room

FLSA Designation: Non- Exempt

License Type: Gaming

Target Pay: Start $25.29 One Year $28.10

Essential Job Functions:

• Retrieves cash and tickets from slot machines
• Counts currency, coin, chips, or ticket vouchers
• Must be able to accurately count high volumes of currency
• Operates electronic devices and machines when processing money
• Ensures compliance with gaming regulations related to the Count Room
• Immediately reports any irregularities to the Lead Count Team Attendant or Above
• Completes required accounting paperwork
• Ensures compliance with all other regulatory controls both internal and external including, but not limited to, state and federal laws and the New York State Gaming Commission
• Performs all other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• High school diploma or equivalent
• One or more years of money handling experience is preferred
• Must possess basic math skills and ability to count large sums of currency and chips
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, weekends and holidays
• Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing

Working Conditions:

• Regularly required to see, talk and hear; use of hand to finger dexterity, handle, feel, reach with hands and arms; stand and/or walk for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to work in a confined space without the ability to enter or exit freely
• Must occasionally lift up to 30 pounds
• Frequently required to push or pull up to 300 pounds
• Frequently required to stoop, crouch or kneel
• Ability to interact with others while maintaining a courteous and positive demeanor
• Possible exposure to high noise levels for extended periods of time
