Job summary

Bally's Interactive in Baton Rouge, LA is seeking a Count Room Associate to support cash handling operations and surveillance coordination. You will train cashiers, manage counts, and ensure accurate reporting and documentation in a fast-paced gaming environment.

• Operate count room effectively, including training and directing cashiers.
• Oversee paperwork and reports; analyze variances and report to management.
• Count, sort and strap money by denomination per procedures and controls.
• Use computer systems to generate master gaming reports and input data.
• Input slot machine information into the computer system.
• Perform basic math to verify totals on printouts and reports.
• Handle drop boxes and post-drop processes; ensure proper funds processing.
• Communicate clearly with surveillance and other crew to ensure procedures are followed.
• Follow all internal controls, company policies, safety regulations; assist as needed.
• Duties outside normal scope may be required to improve efficiency or guest service.

Job description

Essential Job Functions:

• Operate count room effectively, including training and direction of count room cashiers. Ensure count room has all required supplies. Manage crewmember’s break times.
• Oversee all paperwork and reports generated by the count room; analyze for variances, investigate variances, and provide daily communication, records and reports to management.
• Adhering to departmental procedures, internal controls and all gaming procedures, count, sort and strap money by denomination.
• Operates computer system effectively, generating master gaming reports and delivering all information properly. Inputs slot machine information into computer system.
• Utilizing math skills, adds, subtracts and multiplies printouts to gather totals.
• Motions drop boxes in properly to ensure camera coverage; load and unload drop boxes from trolley cart storage. Perform all post-drop functions and process funds as per procedures.
• Communicate clearly and loudly (vocally) to ensure surveillance and other crewmembers hear/see procedures are being followed. Provide follow-up communication to other departments (i.e. Accounting, Slots) as required.
• Comply with all Internal Controls, Company and departmental policies and procedures, and safety regulations.
• Employees may be required to perform duties outside of their normal job description where, in the Company's judgment, it is necessary in the interest of efficiency, productivity or improved guest service

Target Compensation Range:

• $14.22 per hour
