Job summary

A leading casino company in Indiana is looking for a dedicated team member to manage cash drops and ensure compliance with operational protocols. The role requires physical endurance and familiarity with money handling. Duties include counting cash, reporting discrepancies, and performing minor equipment repairs. Ideal candidates are 21 years or older, capable of standing for long periods, and willing to work weekends and holidays. Competitive salary and benefits package provided.

Qualifications

• Applicant must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must be able to bend, twist, turn, push, and pull.
• Must be able to stand for prolonged periods.
• Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time, for up to ten hours per day.
• Must be able to work for prolonged periods of time in a secured area while under surveillance.
• Money handling experience is helpful.
• Must be able to work any weekends and holidays.
• Must pass background check and MO Gaming License Process.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily count of cash drops on the casino floor.
• Sorts, counts, straps, and records daily counts.
• Prepares reports for any discrepancies.
• Sorts, counts, straps, and records the results of daily counts in accordance with departmental and regulatory policies.
• Compares and contrasts totals from physical count to those entered in the computer as well as the numbers recorded on currency counters.
• Prepares reports recording any discrepancies from the computer totals to the actual physical totals, while notifying the Lead, or Manager of any variance between the two.
• Perform minor repairs and maintenance on Count Room equipment.
• Maintains an ethical work habit in adhering to regulatory, departmental, and company policies.
• Performs duties as assigned by the Count Room Lead or Manager.

• Guaranteed 40 hours pay per week.
• Transfers drop devices from casino floor to the Count Rooms.
• Performs daily count of multiple cash drops on the casino floor.
• Sorts, counts, straps, and records the results of daily counts in accordance with departmental and regulatory policies.
• Compares and contrasts totals from physical count to those entered in the computer as well as the numbers recorded on currency counters.
• Prepares reports recording any discrepancies from the computer totals to the actual physical totals, while notifying the Lead, or Manager of any variance between the two.
• Perform minor repairs and maintenance on Count Room equipment.
• Maintains an ethical work habit in adhering to regulatory, departmental, and company policies.
• Performs duties as assigned by the Count Room Lead or Manager.

Requirements

• Applicant must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must be able to bend, twist, turn, push, and pull in order to complete drops and counts in a timely manner.
• Must be able to carry a minimum of 25 lbs. up to 60 feet while performing the slot drop.
• Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time, for up to ten hours per day.
• Must be able to work for prolonged periods of time in a secured area while under surveillance.
• Money handling experience is helpful.
• Must be able to work any weekends and holidays.
• Must pass background check and MO Gaming License Process.
