Job description

· Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, Federal and State laws and regulations, and Golden Nugget and departmental policies and procedures.

· Consistently deliver positive, courteous, and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors, and fellow employees.

· Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service.

· Perform the collection, counting, sorting, and recording of the contents of the drop boxes from the coin dispensers.

· Perform the counting, sorting, and recording of the contents of the drop boxes from the gaming tables.

· Collect slot drop buckets and drop boxes from the coin dispensers.

· Count, sort, weigh, and wrap or bag coins from the drop buckets and drop boxes of slot machines and coin dispensers.

· Provide the best service to patrons and co-workers through the Count Room Department.

· Enter cash into a currency counter and verify information in the AS/400 system.

· Manually enter drop information into the AS/400 system.

· Assist in the preventative maintenance program to ensure the efficient operation of the Count Room and related equipment.

· Participate in transferring coins from the Hard Count Room to the Coin Storage Room.

· Comply with departmental procedures and policies.

· Follow NJ DGE regulations and procedures, including internal controls and accounting systems.

· Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and perform related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED:

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience in Count Room preferred. Prior knowledge of NJ DGE regulations related to count room procedures. Money handling experience required. Must possess or be eligible to obtain an active Key Credential from the NJ DGE.
