Job summary

Hollywood Casino Joliet is seeking a capable cashier to deliver top-tier guest service in a fast-paced casino environment. The role involves currency counting, bill validator cartridge handling, and daily reconciliation tasks.

You will work with a team to ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism, while performing end-of-day procedures and reporting. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and fluent in English.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word).
• Strong math skills (add, subtract, multiply, and divide).
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
• Energetic, organized, and detail-oriented.
• Prior currency count experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high level of customer service to guests and team members.
• Remove bill validator cartridges and replace with empty cartridges.
• Load and transport cartridges to Count Room.
• Count and strap currency from bill validator cash boxes.
• Upload counts to the Oasis system and scan TITO vouchers.
• Print closing reports and process end of day in Oasis.
• Test accuracy of counting machines daily.
• Other duties as assigned.

WE LOVE OUR WORK.

• This position is responsible for providing a high level of customer service and promoting a positive attitude to create a fun and entertaining experience for our guests and team members.
• Removes bill validator cartridges from slot machines and replaces with empty cartridges.
• Loads bill validator cartridges on cart and transports to Count Room.
• Signs out Count Room keys.
• Counts and straps currency from bill validator cash boxes.
• Uploads the bill validator amounts to be entered into the OASIS system.
• Scans and uploads TITO vouchers in the data imaging system.
• Counts, straps, and records currency from Table Games drop boxes.
• Verifies and Audits documents from Table Games drop boxes to the Drop Verification Report and corrects any system errors or discrepancies.
• Prints closing reports and processes end of day in Oasis system.
• Tests accuracy of the counting machines daily.
• Other duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand and walk. The employee is required to reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, and occasionally sit. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee requires manual dexterity to operate all necessary equipment. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance. Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing 250 lbs. or more daily.
