Job summary

Groups Recover Together in Kennewick, WA, seeks a Counselor to join our member-centered care team. You will lead multiple one-hour group therapy sessions daily, using a structured, evidence-based curriculum and collaborating with prescribers and recovery coaches.

You will monitor member progress, document outcomes, and contribute to a recovery-oriented environment while engaging in community outreach to advance our mission.

Qualifications

• Active, fully independent WA license (LMHC/LCSW/LMFT or SUDP) required.
• Minimum two years’ experience leading groups in SUD settings.
• Comfort with technology: EMR, Telehealth, Google products.

Schedule: Monday-Thursday 8-6 PM PST

Compensation: $60,000 - $78,000

Responsibilities

• Lead 3–4 one-hour group therapy sessions per day using a structured, evidence-based curriculum.
• Facilitate group discussions using a “plug and play” approach from approved modalities to meet members where they are within the guardrails of our clinical framework.
• Collaborate with prescribers, care navigators, and recovery coaches.
• Monitor member progress and document outcomes.
• Support a positive, recovery-oriented environment for members.
• Engage in local community outreach to promote Groups’ mission.

Qualifications

• Salary range: $58,000-$81,000 * Based on experience, and education
• Schedule:
• An active fully independent WA license: LMHC, LCSW, LMFT and/or Certified SUDP (Substance Use Disorder Professional)
• Minimum two years’ leading groups in a SUD setting.
• High comfort level with Technology: EMR, Telehealth software, Google products (Gmail, Google Docs/Sheets/Drive), mobile apps, etc.
• Compassion, collaboration, commitment to quality care, and an investment in member success.
• Ability to work 2-3 evenings per week up to 9pm as needed.
• Other preferred backgrounds, experience, and skills include: mental health, social work, substance use disorder treatment, therapy, human services, social services, medication assisted treatment or MAT.
