Job summary

Compass Health Network seeks a licensed therapist or certified substance use counselor for its Adult Outpatient team in Warrensburg and Odessa. This full-time role (40 hours weekly) covers Mon-Fri at Warrensburg/Burkharth Rd locations, providing individual therapy, treatment planning, and crisis intervention for adults with mental health and/or substance use challenges.

You’ll work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver person-centered, integrated care, while meeting productivity standards

Qualifications

• Licensed therapist or certified substance use counselor eligible to work in Missouri.
• Two years of relevant experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; high school diploma required as baseline.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual psychotherapy and support services to adult clients.
• Coordinate referrals, waitlists, and client care.
• Develop and complete treatment plans in collaboration with clients.
• Provide triage services during Open Access hours.
• Deliver culturally competent services aligned with each person’s needs.
• Maintain complete, accurate, and timely documentation.
• Coordinate care with internal and external service providers.
• Offer crisis intervention during daytime hours per protocol.
• Participate in treatment team meetings and quality assurance activities.
• Provide licensure supervision (if applicable).
• Meet productivity standards and customer care expectations.
• Attend required trainings and comply with funders and accrediting bodies.

Full-time, benefit eligible position. the schedule is Monday - Friday, 40 hours weekly. The candidate will work at locations in both Warrensburg and Odessa.

Compass Health Network is seeking a licensed therapist or certified substance use counselor to join our Adult Outpatient team. In this meaningful role, you’ll provide individual therapy, treatment planning, and crisis intervention for adults experiencing mental health and/or substance use challenges.

As part of a multidisciplinary team, you’ll support clients through person-centered, integrated care—helping them build the tools needed to improve daily functioning and enhance overall wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individual psychotherapy and support services to adult clients
• Serve as a team coordinator for referrals, waitlists, and client care (particularly in CSTAR/OUD settings if applicable)
• Conduct clinical assessments and complete treatment plans in collaboration with persons served
• Provide triage services during Open Access hours, when needed
• Deliver culturally competent services that align with the unique needs of each person
• Maintain complete, accurate, and timely documentation in accordance with agency and state regulations
• Interface and coordinate care with other internal and external service providers to ensure wraparound support
• Offer crisis intervention services during daytime hours per agency protocol
• Participate in treatment team meetings and quality assurance activities
• Provide licensure supervision (if applicable)
• Meet agency-defined productivity standards and customer care expectations
• Attend all required training and maintain compliance with funders and accrediting bodies

Requirements, Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Bachelor’s degree preferred (experience may be considered in lieu of education)
• At least two (2) years of relevant experience preferred

• Certified through the Missouri Credentialing Board:
  • CADC, CRADC, CRAADC, or QAP OR
• Provisionally or fully licensed in Missouri:
  • PLPC, LPC, PLMFT, LMFT, LMSW, or LCSW
