Clients receive medically necessary on-site services in a clustered apartment setting because of a history of failure in multiple community settings and/or the presence on an ongoing risk of harm to self or others which would otherwise require long term psychiatric hospitalization.**What You'll Do*** Monitors clients in a safe environment, performing and documenting client safety rounds. This includes ADL monitoring and coaching (i.e. life skills, communication skills, community integration, etc.).* Facilitates structured activities with clients in accordance with their goals and treatment plan.* Demonstrates culturally competent respect for all clients, guests and staff through verbal and non-verbal behaviors and assists them as needed.* Maintains cleanliness of the program space.* Safeguards Protected Health Information (written and electronically) and maintains confidentiality. This may include providing written documentation, scanning and/or uploading records into the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system. This may also include requesting and/or releasing client information or medical records.**Requirements of the Position*** Availability to work a Full Time schedule (40 hours per week) Mon-Fri 2PM-10:30P; all new hires are required to attend a **one-week ReDiscover orientation** as part of the onboarding process.* High School Diploma or GED.* A valid Missouri Class E automobile operator’s license (or equivalent license in another state).* Must carry all appropriate insurance on the vehicle being driven, necessary to comply with Missouri or Kansas State Law.* Working knowledge of mental illness and substance use disorders preferred.* Excellent customer service skills with a recovery focus.* Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.* Intermediate computer skills in typing/keyboarding, Microsoft Word and Excel programs as well as the use of email.**Grow With Us**We’re committed to your professional development and will support your growth as a Counselor Technician through training, collaboration, and meaningful work.**Ready to join a team that’s passionate about people?
