Job summary

Everest Recovery Centers (Everest Recovery) in South Portland, ME seeks a Full-time Counselor (32 or 40 hours) for 5:30am-2pm. Salary is $27/hr plus bonus incentive. Primary role includes counseling individuals with opiate use disorder using the 12 Core Functions of SUD counseling and maintaining confidentiality.

The position also serves as Peer Recovery Coach, assisting patients with Health Homes Case Management Services; pre-employment screenings and ongoing trainings are required.

Qualifications

• Highschool Diploma or GED required.
• CADC or LADC credential required.
• Good communication skills required.
• Ability to be adaptable/flexible in a busy environment.
• Good decision-making skills required.

We are currently seeking a Full-time Counselor (32 or 40 hours) for our South Portland, ME facility from 5:30am-2pm. Salary is $27/hr+ bonus incentive.

Position Summary:

The primary role of the counselor is to provide services to individuals with a primary diagnosis of an Opiate Use Disorder utilizing the 12 Core Functions of Substance Use Disorder Counseling. Complete all required documentation. Maintain strict adherence to patient confidentiality standards. This position will also serve as Peer Recovery Coach, assisting patients who are not on caseload with Health Homes Case Management Services.
