Job summary

Everest Recovery is seeking a part-time Bilingual (Spanish) Counselor in Ludlow, MA for 10-12 hours per week. The role involves conducting clinical assessments, providing individual and group counseling services, and maintaining patient confidentiality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of supervised substance use disorder counseling experience for master's degree holders.
• Minimum of two years of supervised substance use disorder counseling experience for bachelor's degree holders.
• Minimum of one year supervised counseling experience for high school diploma holders.
• 4,000 hours of clinically supervised counseling for certified/licensed individuals.

We help people rebuild their self-esteem and reestablish their roles as productive family members through our services, which include FDA approved medications: methadone and buprenorphine; diagnostic assessment, recurrence prevention and support groups, SUD education, counseling, and more.

Current Opening:

We are currently seeking a Part-time Bilingual (Spanish) Counselor for 10-12 hours per week at our Ludlow, MA location for $27.50/hour. Hours are between 5:30am-2pm.

Position Summary:

The primary role of the counselor is to provide services to individuals with a primary diagnosis of an Opiate Use Disorder utilizing the 12 Core Functions of Substance Use Disorder Counseling. Complete all required documentation. Maintain strict adherence to patient confidentiality standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Clinical assessments to determine appropriate level of treatment.
• Provision of individual and group counseling services to patients
• Accurate and timely completion of patient documentation
• Maintain up to date and accurate patient records
• Provide case-management and referral services
• Adherence to patient confidentiality as required by Federal and State Law and Regulations.
• Maintain state required certifications
• Attend required trainings
• Outreach and networking

Requirements

A master's degree in one of the following disciplines or a closely related field: clinical psychology, education-counseling, medicine, psychology, psychiatric nursing, rehabilitative counseling, social work, and who has a minimum of one year of supervised substance use disorder counseling experience;

OR

A bachelor's degree in any of the listed disciplines and a minimum of two years of supervised substance use disorder counseling experience;

OR

An individual who has a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of one year supervised counseling

experience in substance use disorder treatment or a closely related field.

OR

A recognized certification or licensure (LICSW, LMHC, CADC, LADC-I, LADC-II) including 4,000 hours of clinically supervised counseling of individuals with substance use disorders including at least 220 documented hours of supervision.
