Everest Recovery Centers in Manchester, ME seeks a Full-time Counselor (CADC or LADC) for 32 or 40 hours with a shift from 5:30am to 1:30pm. The role focuses on applying the 12 Core Functions of Substance Use Disorder Counseling, performing clinical assessments, counseling, and thorough documentation to support recovery.

The position requires a highschool diploma or GED and CADC or LADC, with strong communication and adaptability to a busy environment.

Responsibilities

We are currently seeking a Full time Counselor CADC or LADC (32 or 40 hours) for our Manchester, ME location. (5:30am-1:30pm)

Position Summary:

The primary role of the counselor is to provide services to individuals with a primary diagnosis of an Opiate Use Disorder utilizing the 12 Core Functions of Substance Use Disorder Counseling. Complete all required documentation. Maintain strict adherence to patient confidentiality standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Clinical assessments to determine appropriate level of treatment.
• Provision of individual and group counseling services to patients
• Accurate and timely completion of patient documentation
• Maintain up to date and accurate patient records
• Provide case-management and referral services
• Adherence to patient confidentiality as required by Federal and State Law and Regulations.
