Job summary

ACTS, Inc. is seeking a compassionate professional for the Keystone Residential Team in Tarpon Springs, FL. The role offers $23.00–$24.00 per hour, an on-site work arrangement, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance.

You will perform admissions, provide counseling services, and coordinate treatment plans for individuals in need. Requirements include a Bachelor's Degree in a counseling-related discipline and successful Level 2

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in counseling-related discipline.
• Ability to participate in crisis intervention and CPR/First Aid training.

Responsibilities

• Perform admission screenings for persons served to determine appropriate level of care needed.
• Perform admissions ensuring completion of proper documentation and explanations of rights of persons served.
• Provide counseling services including psychosocial assessments, individual, group and family counseling, development and updating of treatment plans, and discharge planning.
• Provide referral or linkage services to ensure needs of persons served are met.
• Observe clients for behavioral changes and progress in treatment.
• Communicate with persons served empathetically and engage them to talk about their substance abuse, mental health, homelessness and/or criminal justice involvement.
• Communicate with legal guardians, family members, case managers and/or court administration related to treatment progress.
• Adhere to regulatory bodies and licensing rules, guidelines and established protocols to carry out all duties required by contract, licensure, accreditation, and certification.
• Comply with confidentiality standards.
• Participate in peer review and provide direction and professional development to direct care team, as appropriate.
• Other duties as assigned.

Location: In-person and On-Site at our Adult Residential Housing program in Tarpon Springs, Florida

What is Required:

• A Bachelor's Degree in a counseling related discipline.
• Eligibility status, as determined by Level 2 background screening in accordance with Florida Statutes, Chapter 435 and/or Local Law.
• Ability to participate in crisis intervention and CPR/First Aid training and apply learned techniques, as needed.
