Job summary

Pyramid Healthcare, located at 600 S White Horse Pike, Hammonton, NJ 08037, is seeking a CADC to facilitate all clinical services for the program in line with our clinical philosophy.

The weekend shift (Saturday and Sunday) totals 16–20 hours per week, with responsibilities including client evaluation, treatment team collaboration, and documentation. Opportunities for advancement and comprehensive benefits are available.

Qualifications

• CADC with any level of education or a Master’s Degree with NJ professional license options.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate behavioral, emotional, cognitive, spiritual, and social needs of clients and family members.
• Consult with treatment team to develop and progress treatment goals.
• Facilitate clinical services for clients, including individual & family sessions, groups, and referrals.
• Maintain clinical records in ECR per policy.
• Support UR process and utilization review in a timely manner.
• Contribute to aftercare planning and data processes.
• Engage in curriculum development, literature review, and staff training.

Education

CADC (Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor) licensure or degree

Master’s Degree with NJ license (LSW/LAC/LCADC/LCSW/LPC) optional

Responsibilities

• Evaluate behavioral, emotional, cognitive, spiritual, and social needs of clients and family members.
• Consult regularly with the treatment team for the development of and progress towards treatment goals in accordance with clinical policy and accreditation guidelines.
• Facilitate all clinical services for clients, including individual and family sessions, therapeutic groups, and contact with referral sources or outpatient providers as applicable.
• Maintain clinical records for clients with appropriate documentation of clinical services and client program engagement in ECR in accordance with program policy.
• Provide documentation and support for utilization review in a timely manner and participate in the UR process as outlined in program policy.
• Participate in aftercare plan development and outcome data processes as applicable.
• Contribute to program-specific curriculum development, literature review, and training in accordance with clinical philosophy.
• Participate in on-call rotation as directed by the supervisor and in accordance with program policy.
• Conduct Level of Care Assessments as required. Maintain a safe, orderly, and therapeutic physical environment for clients, including crisis intervention.
• Complete all required trainings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Education

• A CADC (Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor) with any level of education (High School Diploma, Associate, Bachelor Degree) from an accredited college with a major in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling, nursing (with a clinical specialty in the human services field), or other related field.
• OR
• A Master’s Degree from an accredited college with a major in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling, nursing (with a clinical specialty in the human services field), or other related field AND Possession of a NJ professional license such as LSW (Licensed Social Worker), LAC (Licensed Associate Counselor), LCADC (Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor), LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), or LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor).
