Job summary

Pyramid Healthcare is seeking a Clinical Director to oversee all clinical services and ensure adherence to clinical standards and compliance in collaboration with program and corporate leadership.

The role includes supervising counselors, evaluating client needs, and supporting new program development, with a Monday–Friday 8:00am–4:00pm schedule at our facility. Equal opportunity employer, committed to quality behavioral health care.

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling with a Master’s level licensure (CAADC) and 2 years clinical experience in a health and human services setting.
  • Master’s Degree with licensure pursuit (CAADC) and 2 years clinical experience in health and human services, including one year with chemically dependent.
  • Bachelor’s Degree with CADC or pursuing CADC with at least one year of qualifying clinical experience, plus 3 years total in health and human services including one year with chemically dependent.
  • Associate Degree with CAAC and 4 years clinical experience in health and human services including one year with chemically dependent.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitates treatment team meetings and case consults.
  • Provides supervision to counselors and staff.
  • Attends shift change and company meetings; maintains client caseload as needed.
  • Assists Executive Director in developing new programs.
  • Clerical duties for client files and support to external stakeholders.

Education

Master’s Degree in chemical dependency/psychology/social work/counseling
Master’s Degree with CAADC licensure (or pursuing)
Bachelor’s Degree with CADC (or pursuing)
Associate Degree with CAAC and 4+ years clinical experience

Summary:

The Clinical Director oversees all clinical services and is responsible for adherence to clinical standards and compliance expectations in collaboration with program and corporate leadership.

Shift

Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluates potential clients for the appropriate level of care requirements and identifies their DSM IVTR diagnoses, Axis I-V. Assists the counselors in the development of the treatment plan.
  • Facilitates treatment team meetings and participates in case consults.
  • Provides individual and group supervision to the counselors and other staff as assigned.
  • Attends shift change and company meetings.
  • Maintains caseload as needed.
  • Assists the Executive Director in developing new programs for the facility.
  • Clerical duties as required for maintenance of client files.
  • Listens to clients concerning all areas of treatment.
  • Maintains safe, orderly, and therapeutic environment for clients including crisis intervention.
  • Insures clinical program occurs daily as scheduled.
  • Identify/Implement/Evaluate evidence based treatment modalities.
  • Provide support to counselors to ensure EB modalities are consistently utilized both in group and individual sessions.
  • Attend provider meetings and explore other opportunities to engage with external stakeholders.
  • Support marketing efforts by providing tours and information as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications Education, Licensure, & Experience:

a) Master’s Degree from an accredited college with a major in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling with a Master’s level licensure: Marriage and family therapy, social work, professional counseling or certification by a state wide certification board (CAADC) and 2 years of clinical experience in a health and human services agency which includes 1 year of working directly with the chemically dependent.

b) Master’s Degree from an accredited college with a major in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling and are working towards a Master’s level licensure (Marriage and family therapy, social work, professional counseling), or certification by a state wide certification board(CAADC), and 2 years of clinical experience in a health and human services agency which includes1 year of working directly with the chemically dependent.

c) Bachelors Level with a CADC or are working towards a CADC with a minimum of one year of qualifying clinical experience, and 3 years of clinical experience in a health and human services agency which includes 1 year of working directly with the chemically dependent.

d) Associates Degree with a CAAC and 4 years of clinical experience in a health and human services agency which includes 1 year of working directly with the chemically dependent.
