Job summary

Aliviane Inc. is seeking a Counselor Intern to manage a client caseload, conduct screenings, and develop treatment plans at our El Paso facility.

You will facilitate individual and group counseling sessions, document client progress, and participate in discharge planning under licensed supervision. The role requires a high school diploma or GED and an LCDC Intern designation with the Texas Department of State Health Services.

Qualifications

• Requires a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) Intern designation with Texas DHS.
• Experience with coordinating treatment plans and client progress notes.
• Knowledge of substance use 12 core functions and applying them clinically.

Responsibilities

• Manage a client caseload, screen and assess needs, and develop treatment plans.
• Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions and document progress.
• Discharge planning and coordination with treatment team and other providers.
