Aliviane Inc. in El Paso, TX is seeking a Counselor Intern (PRN) to support substance use treatment services. You will screen, assess, and develop treatment plans while working under supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or Associate degree in Social Services, Human Relations, Social Science, Psychology, or related field.
• Must be designated as a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) Intern by the Texas Department of State Health Services.
• One to two years related experience and/or training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage a client caseload including screening and assessing for client needs.
• Develop treatment plans and discharge planning.
• Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions; documentation of client progress.
• Maintain client files in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
• Provide crisis management and conflict resolution as needed.
• Attend organizational trainings and pursue CE hours.
