This position is located in Guilford County, the Greensboro unit office. The Counselor in Charge will assist the Unit Manager with work which involves planning, implementing, and evaluating the technical and administrative components of a diverse rehabilitation program’s day-to-day operations. The Counselor in Charge will work with the Unit Manager and staff to achieve unit goals for productivity and quality customer service.
This position will be responsible for daily supervision, leadership and assigned casework supervision and approval for Rehabilitation Counselors and other assigned staff.
Salary Range: $43,267.00-$75,718.00
Recruitment Range: $57,000.00 - $67,606.00

Master’s degree in rehabilitation counseling or counseling from an appropriately accredited institution and two years of experience as a rehabilitation counselor; OR Current certification as a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor by the Commission of Rehabilitation Counselor Certification (CRCC), and two years of experience as a rehabilitation counselor; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Necessary Special Requirement: Successful completion of the agency requirements for independent counselor status.
