Job summary

Amity Foundation in Missouri is seeking compassionate individuals for the Counselor II/III role within the Integrated Substance Use Disorder Treatment Program. You will deliver face-to-face rehabilitative programming in a prison/re-entry setting and help participants build release plans while supporting recovery.

Responsibilities include facilitating CBI classes, conducting sessions, tracking progress in ARMS, engaging participants daily, and collaborating with CDCR/CCHCS staff.

Qualifications

• Certified AOD Counselor required for Counselor II.
• Counselor III requires 1 year of full-time experience in certified AOD counseling.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate CBI classes using evidence-based curriculum.
• Conduct class and individual sessions to develop release prevention/action plans and/or provide make-up work.
• Evaluate and document progress of participants in their classes.
• Document delivery of CBI programming services in ARMS.
• Engage participants daily and reinforce group norms and expectations.
• Work with CDCR/CCHCS headquarters, local institution, and CDCR staff.
• Other related duties as assigned.
