Job summary

Tarzana-Treatment-Centers seeks a Counselor II at the Northridge facility to provide individual counseling, group facilitation, and crisis intervention as part of a multidisciplinary team. This full-time position integrates with the PDD department and reports to the Program Director.

Qualifications

• Must have basic counseling and crisis intervention skills.
• Experience in a behavioral health setting preferred.
• Certification in addiction counseling or related program is expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide crisis intervention on an as-needed basis.
• Attend weekly individual and group supervision.
• Attend in-service training and educational workshops.
• Attend required staff meetings and communicate with team.
• Maintain professional conduct and confidentiality per agency policy.
• Assist in developing and implementing treatment plans.
