• Develop and implement school‑wide initiatives to promote mental health awareness and positive behavior.
• Maintain accurate records of counseling sessions and student progress in compliance with school policies and confidentiality standards.
• Participate in school meetings, parent‑teacher conferences, and community outreach activities to foster a supportive network.
• Stay informed about current trends and best practices in school counseling and mental health.
• Provide crisis intervention and support to students and families in times of need.
• Advocate for the needs of students and promote a safe and inclusive school environment.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in School Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
• Valid state certification or licensure as a school counselor.
• Experience working with elementary‑aged children in a counseling or educational setting preferred.
