Pyramid Healthcare New River Valley Inpatient in Radford, VA is seeking a Virginia-licensed or provisionally licensed counselor to join our clinical team.

You will provide individual, family, and group therapy, perform assessments, and help develop treatment plans while documenting care and coordinating with referral sources.

This full-time, in-person role offers on-site work with some weekend requirements; compensation ranges from $61,000 to $70,000 per year depending on education and experience.

Competenze

• Master’s degree in human services or related field is required.
• Virginia credentials listed (CSAC-S, Resident in Counseling, Supervisee in Social Work, LSATP, LPC, LCSW) are required or in progress.

• Provide individual, family, and group counseling services.
• Assess clients' behavioral, emotional, cognitive, social, and other treatment needs.
• Develop and support individualized treatment goals.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Coordinate care with referral sources and outpatient providers.
• Participate in aftercare planning and continuity of care.
• Provide documentation needed for utilization review.
• Support clients through challenging moments and provide crisis intervention when needed.
• Participate in an on-call rotation as assigned.
• Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary treatment team.

At Pyramid Healthcare New River Valley Inpatient, you'll join a close-knit clinical team providing substance use disorder treatment in a collaborative environment. You'll have the opportunity to work directly with clients through individual, family, and group therapy while building valuable experience toward your professional goals.

What You'll Do

• Provide individual, family, and group counseling services

Required: Master's degree in human services or a related field from an accredited college AND one of the following Virginia credentials:
