Job summary

Preferred Behavioral Health Group in Warren, New Jersey, is seeking a Counselor Aide to support referral handling for DCP&P involved adults, manage the office calendar, and distribute urine drug screen results.

The Counselor Aide works in a supportive role to the Assessment Counselor, conducts random urine screens, and helps maintain all required logs in a team environment. A valid NJ driver’s license is required and the organization offers comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities

• Handle all aspects of the referral process, receive and schedule incoming referrals
• Collect urine drug screens in accordance with Chain of Custody procedure
• Conduct home visits as needed and complete chain of custody drug screens.
• Transport clients as instructed and responsible for maintaining the vehicle.
• Proficiently communicates - written and verbal
• Highly organized
• Knowledge of Addictions Preferred.
