Preferred Behavioral Health Of New Jersey is seeking a Counselor Aide at our Warren location to receive and schedule referrals for DCP&P involved adults, maintain office calendar, and assist the Assessment Counselor. The role requires strong organization and communication skills, plus the ability to perform urine drug screens as needed.

Qualifications

• Education - High School Diploma.
• License - Valid NJ Driver's License in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Handle referrals: receive and schedule incoming referrals.
• Collect urine drug screens and maintain chain of custody records.
• Conduct home visits as needed and complete chain of custody drug screens.
• Transport clients and maintain the vehicle.
• Communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• Maintain high level of organization.
• Knowledge of Addictions preferred.
